Southeast Lauderdale girls 2
Claire Miller led the Southeast Lauderdale girls soccer team with two goals, including a game-winner with 30 seconds remaining in regulation, to propel the Lady Tigers to a 2-1 win over Philadelphia at home Thursday night.
Miller also scored Southeast's first goal with 10:17 left in the second half, but Philadelphia was quick to answer four minutes later to tie the game at 1-1. Miller's game-winner came on an 20-yard strike beyond the box.

The Southeast Lauderdale boys soccer team completed a sweep of Philadelphia with a dramatic win in penalty kicks.
Ryder Lefried knocked in the game-winner for the Tigers in the sudden-death round to propel Southeast (13-1, 8-0) past its district rivals.
The two sides refused to budge throughout regulation and overtime, as Noah Johnson did not allow a goal in net for the Tigers while stopping nine shots. Andrew Bernard, Chase Hughes, Gage Lefried, Josh Johnson and Andreas Alonzo provided Southeast's other penalty-kick goals.

Johnathan Young led the Raider with 10 points, while Trevor Boling chipped in with 8 points.

East Central CC 44
Despite leading taking a lead into halftime, the East Central women could not come away with a win at home Thursday night against Southwest. Tanihhija Hughes scored 11 points for East Central, which led 31-30 at the break.
Katrina Littlepage led Southwest (13-2, 5-1) with 16 points, while April Levy scored 14 on the night.
East Central (7-8, 2-4) will travel to Jones County Monday night.

Southwest completed the road sweep of East Central later in the night, when it took down the Warriors 86-65.
Chris Jones, Corey Williams and Twymond Howard had 14 points apiece to lead the Bears (9-6, 3-3). East Central (6-9, 2-4) was led by Jacques Johnson with 14 points, while Terrance Mujahid had 13 points and Ramone Tate had 10 points for the Warriors.
