The West Lauderdale baseball team kept its perfect disrtict record alive, as the Knights beat Quitman 2-0 Friday night.
Ryan Lane earned the win for the Knights, giving up just two hits while striking out eight batters.
Cole Gullette led West Lauderdale with two hits on the night.
The Knights improve to 14-3 (8-0) on the season.
Newton County 12
Northeast Lauderdale 2
The Newton County baseball team kept pace in district , defeating Northeast Lauderdale 12-2 Friday night.
Peyton Cain got the win for the Cougars, pitching six innings and striking out seven batters.
Will Brand led Newton County at the plate, going 2-2 with three RBIs. Reagan Warren and Dan Nelso also had two hits for the Cougars.
Newton County improves to 14-4 (8-0) on the season.
Scott Central 0
Clarkdale received a solid start from Keaton Smith and beat Scott Central 10-0 Friday night,
Smith( 2-1) pitched six innings, giving up only two hits and striking out 11 batters on the night to earn the win.
Smith and Chance McDonald led the Bulldogs at the plate with two hits each.
Clarkdale improves to 14-3 (7-1) on the season.
Southeast Lauderdale 5
It took extra innings, but the Southeast Lauderdale baseball team was able to take down Forest 5-4 at home Friday night.
Nathan Ross earned the win for the Tigers, pitching three innings while not giving up a run in relief.
Gage Hagan led Southeast at the Plate with three hits.
The Tigers walked off with the win,as Hunter Thrower scored from second base on a throwing error, as the Forest pitcher overthew first base after Ross layed down a bunt single.

Dylan Nolan led the Russell Christian Academy baseball team, as the Warriors defeated Newton County Academy 6-3 in Game 1 Friday night.
Nolan threw a complete game and struck out 10 batters.
Jaconn Stephens had three hits for the Warriors.

Russell threw all 10 innings for the Warriors, compling 12 strikouts on the night. Dylan Nolan had the game-winning hit.
