Holcomb rolls 300 for second straight week

By Regina Anderson/Special to The Star

Stan’s Classic Color Pin No-Tap is scheduled for Nov. 15 at 6 p.m. Strike jackpots are now estimated at $650 with Game 2 carrying a double rollover from last month. The November tournament is the next-to-last color pin no-tap of the year with the end of the year tournament set for Dec. 11. Tournament director Stan Bottorff will be awarding seven lucky bowlers, during the end of the year tournament, a paid entry into the December four- or eight-game sweeper to be held Dec 12-13.

Stan’s Classic Team No-Tap will follow the Color Pin No-Tap Tournament next month. Teams will consist of five members with those who average a 160 and below will receive an eight-count strike. Tournament play begins Nov. 25 and continues until Nov. 29. Teams can submit an entry form now and cover the cost of the tournament on the date of bowling. Currently, the Thanksgiving Team No-Tap Tournament has 38 entries posted. Entry forms are at Dixie Bowl Lanes.
