As the 21st century moves forward men and women of America want to prove God does exist or that there was conclusive evidence that He does not exist.
Only through history do we find an answer to this writing some 2,700 years ago. God says, through His prophet Isaiah 46:9-10, “I am God and there is none like me, declaring the end and result from the beginning and from ancient times the things that are not yet done.”
We see modern day prophecy fulfilled when one simply reads the declaration in the song recorded in Psalm 83. First, this song dates itself by declaring that a certain nation being born is key to the time referenced in the writing. What nation is threatened to be wiped out in the song? Before Israel became a nation, (Charles H.) Spurgeon declared Israel to be that Nation.
God warned that any nation “that touches you (Israel) touches the apple of His eye.” (Zechariah 2:8) After all, this is the nation that was formed in a day, Israel, by act of the United Nations, May 15, 1948.
And Zion is declared to be that nation in Isaiah 66:8 (NIV) by the question: “Can a country be born in a day or a nation be brought forth in a moment? Yet no sooner is Zion in labor than she gives birth to her children.” Yes, the nation is Israel.
But, Israel, you are surrounded by enemies, a billion Muslims. Don’t you “See how your enemies are astir, how your foes rear their heads.” (Psalm 83:2)
"Come," they say (Ahmadinejad and the Muslim faith), "let us destroy them as a nation, that the name of Israel be remembered no more." (Psalm 83:4) YHWH, all the nations around Israel hate You.
Are you going to allow this, Jehovah? Why? Psalm 83:18 states, “That men may know that You, whose name alone is JEHOVAH, is the most high over all the earth.” The world sees that God states these words with boldness. If you examine the history of the 1967 Arab-Israeli Six Day War, the world sees His power and God will do it again.
