Nov. 10

    10:30 a.m. — The Pilgrim Rest Missionary Baptist Church of Porterville Mississippi would like to extend a warm welcome for you and your church family to help us in celebrating Pastor Carey McDonald And First Lady Nellie McDonald's Twenty Eighth (28th) Year's Anniversary. The service will be at The Pilgrim Rest Missionary Baptist Church at 2019 Howard Johnson Road in Porterville. We look forward in being blessed with your presence in our honoring our Pastor for a job well done.

    10:30 a.m. and 5 p.m. — David & The Giants will be at the Evangel Temple Church, 3611 HWY 145, Meridian. They will be with us in the Sunday Morning Service at 10:30 a.m. as well as 5 p.m. Sunday evening. Admission is free, only a love offering will be taken.

    2 p.m. — Christian Fellowship Baptist Church of Yantley, Ala. will hold a Family and Friends Day on Nov. 10 at 2 p.m. Robert Webb Sr. is the pastor.

    2 p.m. — Grace and Covenant Church and Pastor Dorothy N. Lloyd request the honor of your presence at the ordination of Ministers Dwight Herlong and Leo Cook Jr. at Grace and Covenant Church, 3306 40th Ave., in Meridian. For more information, call 601-616-7446.

    3 p.m. — Mt. Carmel Baptist Church, located at 4126 York Road in Lauderdale, will celebrate the 15th year anniversary of Pastor and Sister Grover and Faye Mosley. The Rev. William C. Brown, pastor of 5th Street Baptist Church will be the guest speaker, along with his church family and choir. Everyone is invited to attend.

    7 p.m. — Legacy Five will be in concert Friday at Cedar Grove Baptist Church, 2548 Cedar Grove Road in Newton. For more information, contact 601-683-3627. Free admission. A love offering will be received.

Nov. 16

    8 a.m. until — Big Oak United Methodist Church in Kemper County will host a car show, flea market, antiques and craft and more on Nov. 16 from 8 a.m. until. Nov. 17

    9 a.m. — Good Hope MB Church will hold a Harvest Day Program and a Men and Women Day Program at 2 p.m. Speakers will be Rev. Bobby Nichols and Sis. Linda Nichols of Antioch MB Church in Lake.

    2:30 p.m. — Bethel MB Church will hold its Annual Choir Day at 2:30 p.m. Choirs, groups and praise teams may render two selections of their choice. For more information, call 601-483-5656.

    6 p.m.—The Barnacastles will present a gospel concert at Prospect Congregational Methodist Church, located 6 miles north of Collinsville on Hwy. 19N.
