Signposts on the road to Armageddon

MERIDIAN — The first event of the Blood Red Moons occurred this past Tuesday, April 15, 2014—the first of the TETRAD. Did you see it with clarity in the sky?

The scheduled appearance of four total lunar eclipses on major Jewish holidays between this Monday night (the start of Passover 2014) and Sept. 27, 2015 (the start of Sukkot) has the attention of Christians worldwide. But, the eclipses are going to go almost totally unseen in Israel.

Data published by NASA reveals that all but the last of the four eclipses will not be visible from the Middle East, and even the fourth will only be partially visible.      God emphasizes the importance in Joel 2:31, when he stated, “The sun shall be turned into darkness (AN ECLIPSE OF THE SUN), and the moon into blood (AND ECLIPSE OF THE MOON) before the coming of the great and awesome day of the LORD.”

And NASA data declares that there will not be another TETRAD in this century.

In the last 500 years, only three tetrad have occurred. But, this tetrad is special in that all Blood Red Moons occur on Passover and Sukkot. One of those tetrads began just prior to the outbreak of the Six Day War in 1967. Two others (in 1493 and 1949) began more than a year after the expulsion of the Jews from Spain and the State of Israel’s declaration of independence, respectively.

The observance of heavenly signs is in addition to our regular Christian activity. God said in Psalm 19:1, “The heavens proclaim the glory of God. The skies display his craftsmanship.”

We should take notice of these Blood Red Moons as God says to His creation, give me your attention. It is like a billboard in the sky from God. God continues in Psalm 19:4, “Yet their message (in the heaven) has gone throughout the earth, and their words to all the world.”

Signpost on the Road to Armageddon endeavors to obtain the daily news to glean prophetical findings which apply to the precise prediction from the past.  Biblical prophecies are being fulfilled as we read the news daily.

Remember, the wise men found the location of our Lord Jesus by observing the heavenly bodies. It was in the Exodus from slavery in ancient Egypt that was ruled by the Pharaohs that God said, “And the blood shall be a sign for you … and when I see the blood I will pass over you …” What did He mean?

In Egypt, doorposts of Jewish homes were rubbed with blood from a sacrificial lamb ... and God passed over them, keeping them safe from the last and worst of the ten plagues. Paul wrote in 1 Cor5:7, “... for Messiah, our Passover Lamb, has been sacrificed."

Yes, Passover, 2014, began at 6 p.m., April 14, 2014, as a commemoration of the liberation that occurred more than 3,300 years ago by God. God wanted a time with His people so he provided His presence as He led 3 million Israelites from Egypt to the Promise Land during a 40 year journey. His leading in the day was by a cloud in the heavens and a fire in the heavens by night.

Is it time for the Lord's return? We shall see. In prophecy He told us to watch for the rebirth of the State of Israel, and that occurred. He told us to watch the rise of Russia and Iran as a threat in Ezekiel 38 and 39. We saw a peace treaty regarding Israel and many nations in the UN.

Further, He told us to watch the Blood Red Moons with solar eclipses as markers.  Joel 2:31 is a proclamation from God! WHAT IS HE SAYING? Something is about to happen that will CHANGE THE WORLD FOREVER!
