Saturday, May 11

    8 a.m. —  Spring Hill United Methodist Church, 6614 Zero Road, will have a Memorial Day Cemetery cleaning. For more information, call 601-482-3626  or 601-479-6723.

Thursday, May 16

    6 p.m. — Poplar Springs Drive Baptist Church will host a Homeschool Community Meeting in the Activities Building at the church located at 4032 Poplar Springs Drive. For more information, call 601-485-5106.

Saturday, May 18

    7:30 p.m. — A Southern Gospel Concert will take place at Stuart Memorial Auditorium, 939 Old Salt Road in Sumrall, featuring Dogwood Cross, from Bogue Chitto and Persuaded One. A love offering will be accepted. The auditorium is located five miles west of Sumrall on Old Salt Road. Take Highway 42 to Highway 44 West to the Quickstop. Turn left. The auditorium is on the right.

Sunday, May 19

    The Spring Hill United Methodist Church, at 6614 Zero Road, will have a morning of worship featuring The Hendersons of Miltion, Fla., at 10:30 a.m., with lunch following at 12:30 p.m. Sunday School will be at 9:30 a.m. For more information, call 601-482-3626  or 601-479-6723.

    2:30 p.m. — Union Missionary Baptist Church Kemper Springs, 3701 Kemper Springs Road, invites the public to the adult choir program. Rev. Willie Baylor of Indianapolis, Ind., will be the guest evangelist for the occasion.

May 20-22

    Revival Service will be held at the Pleasant Grove Baptist Church in DeKalb May 20-22 nightly at 7:30 p.m A different speaker will be on the platform each night:   The May 20 speaker will be Robert Coats, pastor of Union Kemper Springs Baptist Church. The May 21 speaker will be Willie A. Thompson, pastor of New Salem Baptist Church in Whynot. The May 22 speaker will be Gary Houston, pastor of New Hope Blackwater Baptist Church in Daleville. Saturday, May 25

    9 a.m. to 1 p.m. — Hebron Baptist Church, 4795 Vimville Causeyville Road, is hosting a Firearms Seminar. The event is free and open to the public. If interested, please contact the church office at 601-644-3469 or for more information.

June 10-14

    Wesley Chapel VBS will host a carnival June 10-14 from 5:30-8 p.m. at West Chapel UMC, 512 18th St., in Meridian. All ages are welcome. The church has classes for those age 2 to adult.
