    The Price Family Gospel Singers will celebrate their 38th anniversary on May 4 at 7 p.m. and May 5 at 3 p.m. at Pearle Grove Baptist Church in Quitman. The Sunday guest speaker will be Rev. Cornelius McDonald of John the Baptist Church in Barnett. All groups, choirs, and soloists are invited to attend.     11:30 am — A Ladies Spring Conference & Luncheon will be held at Liberty Baptist Church, Highway 493, in Kemper County across from the coal plant. The guest speaker and vocalist will be Carolyn Starnes. The event is free and open to all ladies

    The Little Zion MB Church of Collinsville will be celebrating their pastor’s anniversary on May 5 at 2 p.m. Rev. Billy Clay of Louisville will be the guest speaker. Charles Goss Jr. is the pastor. Everyone is invited.

Friday, May 10

    Fitkin’s Memorial Church of the Nazarene will hold its annual Mother’s and Daughter’s Banquet on May 10 at 6:30 p.m. in the Dr. Charles Johnson Family Life Center at 1110 38th Ave. Tickets are $8 for adults and $4 for children over the age of 4. June 10-14

    Wesley Chapel VBS will host a carnival June 10-14 from 5:30-8 p.m. at West Chapel UMC, 512 18th St., in Meridian. All ages are welcome. The church has classes for those age 2 to adult.
