Sunday, Sept. 1

9:30 a.m. — Broadmoor Baptist Church, on Highway 39 North (just north of Hardees) will begin an exciting new Sunday School Program. The interactive lessons will focus on Christ as He relates to life, community and culture. Classes are available from ages 2 through High School. A nursery is also provided. Sept. 4-6

7 p.m. nightly — The Metropolitan Tabernacle H.O.P. will have a restoration revival. Choirs, soloists, and praise teams for A&B selections are needed. Pastor Timothy Croff of Long Pilgrim Church in Forest will be the guest speaker. For more info call 601-819-0441 o 601-692-4731.

 

Sept. 5 and Sept. 15

Poplar Springs Drive Baptist Church, 4032 Poplar Springs Drive, in Meridian will be offering two new Ladies' Bible Studies.  “Gideon” by Priscilla Shirer will be led by Donna Temple on Thursdays at 10 a.m. in room 201 beginning Sept. 5. The second class will feature “Wonderstruck” by Margaret Feinberg, led by Paula Covington on Sundays at 5 p.m. in room 201 beginning Sept. 15. September 11-13

7 p.m. nightly — Bonds of Love Ministries -(Love City Fellowship Church) will host a "There is a man that has it all - women's conference" that is free and open to the public. Men are welcome to attend. The guest speaker is Apostle Wallace from the Bronx in New York. The conference host is Pastor Betty Alford. For more information, call 601-553-8150 or 1-888-598-5683.

 

Sept. 14

10 a.m. — The public is invited to a Women's Retreat to be held at the Louin City Hall in Louin, Miss. The theme for the occasion is "How To Behave in a Cave" 1 Samuel 22. The guest speaker will be Martha Wheaton-Gist, a member of Oak Grove M.B. Church, in  Montrose, Miss. This program will be hosted by Greater Deliverance Ministries of Bay Springs, Miss where Nannie Ross is the Asst. Pastor.
