Former President Clinton stated on ABC news Sunday, Sept. 29, that the gloom and doom of the 1980’s was being repeated as the GOP was “Begging for America to Fail.”
Clinton said regarding the cost and questions of the financial crunch of the Affordable Care Act of America, “I think this bill’s already produced a lot of good results and every — look, they are desperate for this bill to fail, because if it’s not a failure, their whole — everything they’ve been telling us since 1980 that government is bad, is wrong. They so badly want it to fail.”
Mr. Clinton is unable to navigate the fountain of debt as America paddles upstream. All governments in the World have never incurred so much debt. Larger corporations are floating with excess cash resources and are fearful to invest in the fledging economy.
Small corporations and consumers have never been in so much debt and the wealth of the average citizen is depleting from Middle America as it drifts away from the family wealth center in their home, in their retirement and rainy day funds.
The writer of Romans 13:8 states, “Owe no one anything, except to love each other.”
Obama raised taxes, in January 2013 by 2 percent and cut all government work weeks to four work days. The financial model simply does not work when we spend more than we make as a permanent rule of business. The greatest world financial crisis is coming. Let us look at three of the many biblical reasons. God is not surprised. He is not blindsided and He desires that believers be warned.
The first “End of Age” sign is Global Technology that has brought the world to a point where every person in the world can be monetarily controlled. Today, we are in a cashless, individually controlled, limited to purchase or prohibited from purchase electronically for any want or need item.
The ability to be permanently marked to buy and sell is technology that is here. Revelation 13:16 states, that the One World Leader “causes all ... to receive a mark ... that no one may buy or sell except one who has the mark.”
Yes, banks are able to control every account holder. The bank was 80 percent paper in 1996, in 2010 the bank was 30 percent paper and has even less paper in 2013. The bank is able to control your every move financially. Watch for the soon coming day when banking will be an exercise of the cell phone as well as your radio source of news. The technology sign is here.
The second sign is Polarization of Prosperity and Poverty that is predicted in James 5:1-8 during the Last Days when extreme differences will exist in the class of the rich and the poor.
To the rich God says, weep and wail because of the misery that is coming on you. Then, He says to the poor, be patient until the coming of the Lord for the rich have held the wages. Verse 5 says to the rich, “You have lived on earth in luxury and self-indulgence. You have fattened yourselves in the day of slaughter.”
In fact, you have hoarded wealth in the last days. But, God says, be patient believer and stand firm, because the Lord's coming is near. The wealth disparity is seen in the statistic that 2 percent of the world owns 50 percent of all the wealth of the world.
The third sign is seen with the World Preoccupied with Money and Material Things. Paul’s second letter to Timothy 3:1 says, “In the last days perilous times shall come” and several things shall happen in the world of the have and have not. Financially, it will be a day when people are lovers of money, gold and land. For men will be lovers of themselves, self-centered and lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God, having a form of godliness, but denying its power.
As lovers of money in the last days everyone must hear the message given by Jesus in Matthew 6:24. "No one can serve two masters … he will be loyal to the one and despise the other. You cannot serve God and mammon.”
The time clock on every person today is based on what I have to do and not on who I serve, the Holy God.
