Sunday, July 28

    5 p.m. — Christian Fellowship Church, 3004 7th St., Meridian, will host Bridging the Gap fellowship service featuring Pastor Scotty Cole, Pastor John Willis, Pastor L.S. Operton, Pastor Debra Breyer, and Pastor L Hedgemon. All are welcome.

    2 p.m. — Bethel Missionary Baptist Church, 301 46th Avenue, Meridian, will hold deacon ordination services for James Barnett Jr. All are welcome.



July 29 through Aug. 2

    7:30 p.m. The Annual Revival Service will be held at Old Enterprise Baptist Church in Enterprise nightly. The theme is God's Blueprint for Revival. The evangelist is the Rev. Joe Aldridge.



July 31-August 3

    7:30 p.m. — Son Light Ministries Outreach Training Center, 549 East St., Shubuta, will have its annal Word Conference revival with Bishop Bilbo Cooley as the guest evangelist. Other speakers will be Pastor Morris Jones, Pastor Daisey Smith-Patrick, Pastor Alice Nelson, Elder Norbert , and Silvia Lewis. Saturday night is Praise Night and all choirs and soloists are welcome.

August 2-3

    5:30 p.m. — Lord's Way Ministries, four miles east of Forest, on Highway 80 East, will have a country gospel jubilee featuring Charles Smith, The Brown Family, Kindred Spirits, Sherry Hollingsworth and more. The gates open at 5 p.m; the concerts begin at 5:30. One hundred chairs will be provided, but bringing lawn chairs is advisable. Concessions will be available and there will be a $5 entrance fee. Children six and under are admitted free. A love offering will be taken and donated to families in need.



August 4

    11 a.m. — House of Israel Hebrew Culture Center Temple #3, at  2112  Eighth St., will hold its second anniversary at its location. There will be a celebratory luncheon and fellowship following the service. All are welcome.

August 5-8

    7 p.m. — Good Hope M.B. Church, Hickory; will hold revival serves nightly with the Rev. Moore of Corinth M.B. Church as guest speaker. Good Hope M.B. will also hold a homecoming service on Aug. 4 beginning at 11 a.m.  A 1 p.m. revival meeting will begin at 1 p.m.

August 7-9

    7:30 p.m. — New Life Christian Faith M.B. Church, 920 Grand Avenue, Meridian; will hold a Women of Destiny conference with guest speakers Stephanie Williams and Melissa Mapp.
