This know also, “that in the last days perilous times shall come … when children will be disobedient to parents … (2Tim 3:1). Mankind will be cruel and hate what is good. They will act religious and … are the kind who work their way into people's homes and win the confidence of vulnerable women who are burdened with the guilt of sin and controlled by various desires … (2Tim3:6) Such women are forever following new teachings, but they are never able to understand the truth. (2Tim3:7)”
Today, the same social problem is active and indicates perilous times.
To illustrate this current day social problems MSN news headlined a story with this caption. “Mail-order condoms free for California kids as young as 12.”
Free mail-order condoms has drawn fire from religious and conservative groups. Marc Haley, a director at the nonprofit “Christian One-Eighty youth outreach center" said, “I think it’s very dangerous to kids. They aren’t ready, and the state’s coming in and sort of green-lighting it, allowing kids to do things behind their parents’ back. To me, even aside from a religion point of view, that’s absolutely ridiculous when kids aren’t prepared to handle the emotions of sex."
Why is this important to Mississippi? Because, the liberal idea will soon filter into our state and probably will be defended by the ACLU as a constitutional right. It is strange that by law, Obama Care, a person is a child until the age of 26 and the California mandate says you are an adult at the age of 12 years.
Consistent with the political climate these anti-family; anti-parent, authority endeavors continue to multiply. They follow the predicted scriptural path (2 Thes 2:7) which is endeared by a degenerate society that engages the truth that “this lawlessness is already at work secretly, and it will remain secret until the one who is holding it back steps out of the way.”
Can you imagine what it will be like if there is no loyal opposition? Can you imagine what it will be like at the end of the age to see the Church caught away as was Enoch, Elijah and Messiah Jesus. Just think! No more Christians! No more church activity! And 100 million Bible believing Christians have vanished.
The lawlessness, or anti-Christ, or one world leader will remain secret until the one who is holding it back steps out of the way. When? After the catching away of the Church. After the rapture! At the establishment of the One world government! And one world leader, the Man of Lawlessness, the “lawless one” will be revealed. Not only does the scripture teach that the rapture occurs just before the Antichrist is revealed, it also teaches that we as a Christian church, are the restraining influence in the world today.
If the church is gone, raptured, there will be no one to fight for the unborn and abortion doctors like Kermit Gosnell will have freedom to exploit pregnant women. There will be no one to oppose Planned Parenthood’s promotion of sexual promiscuity and abortion in the public school. Government corruption or laws against gambling, drugs, homosexuality, pornography, and the list will continue and will flourish.
There will be no “religious right” trying to “impose Biblical morality” on the people. Instead, as it says in Revelation 9:20-21of those “lawless” days when Antichrist rules the earth, “But the rest of mankind … did not repent of their works …that they should not worship demons, and idols … and did not repent of their murders or their sorceries (drugs) or their sexual immorality or their thefts.”
However, there is an answer to the problem. To miss that great trial and tribulation Jesus Christ said, John 14:6 - "I am the way the truth and the life—no man comes to the Father but by me." The letter to the Romans 10:9 stated, “if you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved.” Verse 10 continues, “for with the heart one believes unto righteousness, and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.”
