NorthPark to host patriotic service

MERIDIAN —     This is the time of year that we celebrate the history of our nation not only as individuals but as a community. In 1993, the music ministry of Parkview Church of God (now NorthPark Church) began the tradition of a patriotic service to recognize the spiritual foundation our nation is built upon and to honor the men and women of our military.

Over the past 20 years, we have used the medium of song, drama, dance, color guard, flag corp and indoor fireworks to play a part in the story of our history and faith as a nation.

On Sunday at 10:45 a.m., the music ministry of NorthPark will present “Indivisible."  is not only a celebration, but a challenge “to recognize the sublime truth, announced in the Holy Scriptures and proven by all history, that those nations only are blessed whose God is the Lord.”

Our strength as a nation lies in the solidarity of its people and the recognition of God as the giver of life and liberty. We extend a special invitation to the Meridian community to celebrate with us ”one nation under God, Indivisible.”
