Sept. 5 and Sept. 15

    Poplar Springs Drive Baptist Church, 4032 Poplar Springs Drive, in Meridian will be offering two new Ladies' Bible Studies.  “Gideon” by Priscilla Shirer will be led by Donna Temple on Thursdays at 10 a.m. in room 201 beginning Sept. 5. The second class will feature “Wonderstruck” by Margaret Feinberg, led by Paula Covington on Sundays at 5 p.m. in room 201 beginning Sept. 15. Call the church office at 601-485-5106 to reserve your spot in the class(es) of your choice.

Sept. 15-19

    The Saint John Missionary Baptist Church of Laurel, Miss., will hold its Annual Fall Revival Service beginning on Sunday, Sept. 15. The guest speaker will be Rev. Marvin Chapman, Pastor of Old Palestine Missionary Baptist Church of Taylorsville, Miss. Services will begin at 3 p.m.

    Revival will be held on Monday, Sept. 16 through Thursday, Sept. 19 at 7:15 p.m. nightly. The guest evangelist will be Rev. Obediah Clemons, Pastor of Greater Outreach Missionary Baptist Church, in Bailey. Everyone is invited to attend. For more information, you may contact the church office at 601-426-9909.

September 11-13

    7 p.m. nightly — Bonds of Love Ministries -(Love City Fellowship Church) will host a "There is a man that has it all - women's conference" that is free and open to the public. Men are welcome to attend. The guest speaker is Apostle Wallace from the Bronx in New York. The conference host is Pastor Betty Alford. For more information, call 601-553-8150 or 1-888-598-5683.

Sept. 14

    10 a.m. — The public is invited to a Women's Retreat to be held at the Louin City Hall in Louin, Miss. The theme for the occasion is "How To Behave in a Cave" 1 Samuel 22. The guest speaker will be Martha Wheaton-Gist, a member of Oak Grove M.B. Church, in  Montrose, Miss. This program will be hosted by Greater Deliverance Ministries of Bay Springs, Miss where Nannie Ross is the Asst. Pastor.
