Signposts on the road to Armageddon

MERIDIAN — The Bible is not a day by day prophetical prediction of the things you will face. However, the Apostle Paul said in 1Corinthians 13:12, Now we see things imperfectly, but then we will see everything with perfect clarity. Revelation 19:10 states, the testimony of Jesus is the spirit of prophecy.

Thus, Biblical prophecy relates to Jesus in some form whether by who He was, who He is or who He will be in the timetable of God. God further states in Isaiah 46:10, only I can tell you the future before it even happens.

Whether God draws a line in the sand to mark an era of time is always a question in the mind of every Bible believer. The world today wants to know the answer to the question asked by the disciples in Matthew 24. Today’s question, if verbalized, may be with a statement. Stop kidding around! The Church has preached this for centuries!

What shall be the sign of thy coming, and of the end of the world? After giving a number of clues Jesus said. Be ready: for in such an hour as you think not the Son of man will come. The Apostle Peter ushered in this dispensation when he stated Joel’s prophecy, “in those days will I pour out my spirit.”

That day, after the crucifixion of Christ, Peter revealed the outpouring of the Spirit on Pentecost and began the fulfillment of Jeremiah 31:31 with an era of Grace and salvation. Thus, the last days of grace began in the minds of many theologians at Pentecost and could conclude at any time upon completion of events predicted by God. We have discussed these events in Signposts and in the teaching of the Word for many years. But, what about specifics that could occur in 2014.

Jesus may come in 2014. When we exercise Biblical proofs of Matthew 24 there appears to be no unfulfilled prophecy remaining unless the gospel has not reached “all nations … and then shall the end come.” (Mat 24:14)

For the last few years “Signposts” has discussed the Palestinians in their negotiation for more land as a peace objective. There is no land that may be given at this time and the U.S. Military Joint Chiefs concluded that “Israel would require the retention of some captured territory in order to provide militarily defensible borders.”

However, Daniel 11:39 predicts that during the reign of the anti-Christ he shall divide the land for gain. Watch for the attempted land grab in 2014.

Next year will bring further planning for the invasion of Russia/Gog and the Islamic States of Ezekiel 38. The provision for the invasion through Syria into Israel will continue past the new deep warm water Ports. Russia/Gog has more ships in the Mediterranean Sea than ever in history.

Israel will seek to preempt the nuclear capability of war that is vividly described in the Bible to occur at the end of the age. Her enemies continually deny Israel’s right to exist.

Israel has criticized the ongoing nuclear agreement of the U.S. with Iran saying that Iran retains their full capacity to enrich uranium. The replacement of diluted uranium already enriched could be done in a very short period of time.          Although “Signposts” has looked for the invasion and bombing of Iran/Persia’s nuclear sites since 2011 the coming year may activate the need to destroy enrichment sites.

Something in the heavens is about to happen and we need to be ready. Further, it will NOT occur again in the 21st Century. NASA eclipse tables are predicting four blood red moons that will begin to occur on specific HOLY Days in the Jewish calendar, Passover, April 15, 2014.

The first of “Four Blood Moons” will be a billboard event from God and we ask the question. WHY should citizens of the planet be excited about this information coming from NASA?

Joel 2:31 states, “The sun shall be turned into darkness, and the moon into blood, before the great and the terrible day of the LORD comes.”
