    • NorthPark Church hosts several support groups each week. Griefshare meets Mondays from 6:30 to 8 p.m. Single & Parenting meets Wednesdays from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. Divorce Care meets Wednesdays 6:30 to 7:30. NorthPark Church is located at 7770 Highway 39 North in Meridian, just across from the North East Middle School.

Dec. 14-15

    First Assembly Meridian presents the 5th Annual Bethlehem revisited today and Sunday, Dec. 14-15 from 5-9 p.m. There will be free guided tours, with more than 100 live characters. The event is open to the public. Free admission. Bring canned foods and coats for local missions. The church is located at 1929 Highway 19 North in Meridian.

    6 p.m. — The Music and Drama Ministry of NorthPark Church presents The Hope of Christmas Dec. today and Sunday at 6 p.m. at the church, located at 7770 Highway 39 North, across from Northeast Middle School. Admission is free.

Dec. 14

    6 p.m. — There will be a Winterfest Gospel concert at The Pentecostal Church of God, located at 181 Old Marion Road in Meridian. Artists from all over Mississippi and Alabama are expected to attend. Group choirs and soloists are invited to participate. For more information, call K. Love at 205-499-1262.

Sunday, Dec. 15

    2 p.m. — Oak Grove M. B. Church in Montrose, Miss., will have a Musician Appreciation Program to honor our church musicians, Bro. Orie Hudson, Jr. and Bro. Jeremy Dade. All choirs, groups and soloists are asked to register upon arrival. Everyone is invited.

    2:30 P.M. — Nuestra Señora de Guadalupe. Join the Catholic Community Sunday, Dec. 15 to celebrate the Feast of Our Lady of Guadalupe. Fr. Mario Solórzano will be our celebrant for the bilingual Mass. Car procession leaving St. Joseph parking lot will be at 2:30 p.m. Mass at St. Patrick Church will be at 3 p.m.

    3 p.m. — The Masonic Families invite you to join us in celebrating our 36th  Annual Christmas Program at William Chapel United Methodist Church, 1345 Highway 503, in Vossburg. Our guest speaker will be Rev. Gerald Chapman, Pastor of Shady Grove Missionary Baptist Church (Taylorsville, Miss.) along with the Church’s Choir. Please join us as we prepare our Hearts, Minds and Bodies to receive God’s Word.

    5 p.m. — The youth of Broadmoor Baptist Church, Highway 39 North in Meridian, just north of Winn Dixie on Highway 39,  will present the Christmas Program, “Three Wise Men and a Baby.” The program is under direction of Sandy Davidson and will be followed by a Christmas Fellowship afterward.Admission is free and everyone is encouraged to attend.

    5 p.m. — Faith Baptist Church’s Children’s Choir will be presenting the fun-filled, energy-packed, time-travel musical, “Back To The Manger." This is sure to be lots of fun for the entire family!  Faith Baptist Church is located at 5050 Hwy 19 North, Meridian. You may contact the church office for further information at (601)485-5658.

Wednesday, Dec. 18

    6:30 p.m. — Faith Baptist Church’s Adult Choir will present a unique, worshipful Christmas experience, “God With Us."  Beautiful sounds of Christmas and powerful testimonies set to a picturesque wintery backdrop create a worship experience unlike any other this season.
