COKER'S COOKBOOK

The ladies of the Coker's Chapel United Methodist Church have come together to compile recipes in a brand new cookbook called A Walk of Faith. The sales of the cookbook will go to help finish their new family life center. There are more than 800 recipes to choose from, which also include 100 cake recipes. The price of the cookbook is $15 or $18 if you need it shipped to you. On Oct. 10 and on Oct. 31, the ladies will be at Wal-Mart selling the cookbook and some jewelry, then you have an additional chance of catching them at the Frank Cochran Center on Nov. 1-2. Taco Roll Ups

2 (8-0z.) pkgs. cream cheese
2 T. taco seasoning
1 (8-oz.) sour cream
1 T. onion soup mix
1 lb. cheddar cheese, shredded
8 flour tortillas
1/2 c. picante sauce
Beat cream cheese and sour cream. Stir in cheddar cheese, picante sauce, taco seasoning, and onion soup mix. Spread over tortillas. Roll each tortilla tightly and wrap in plastic. Refrigerate for 1 hour. Cut into 1" pieces. Yields 3 1/2 dozen.
Cranberry Gelatin Salad

1 (6-oz.) pkg. cherry gelatin
1/2 cups of seedles red grapes halved
1 1/2 cups of boiling water
1 (20-oz.) c. whole-berry cranberry sauce
1/4 c. chopped pecans
In a large bowl, dissolve gelatin in water. Stir in pneapple and cranberry sauce. Refrigerate for 30 minutes. Stir in grapes, and pecans. Pour into 2-qt. serving bowl. Refrigerate until firm. Yield: 8-10 servings.
