MERIDIAN —     The Clarkdale area was the scene of Lathan Davis' successful deer hunt. The ten point buck weighed 200 pounds and had an antler spread of 17 and a half inches. The deer scored 124 and one eighth inches.

    McKenna Brown, seven, killed her first deer with a Rossi .223 November 16, 2012 while hunting with her father, Shannon Brown, at Lauderdale Hunting Club.

    Lang Pharis bagged a fine deer on Youth Weekend for deer hunters in Neshoba County. He is the son of Weber and Elizabeth LaBiche Pharis.

    Jordan McLemore of Lake, MS, shot her first deer using a .270 short mag while hunting with her dad. The hunt took place on private hunting land in Lawrence, MS.  Jordan is the 12-year-old daughter of Ben and Stephanie McLemore of Lake. She enjoys hunting and spending time with her dad in the woods.
