Bass tournament set for June 28

MERIDIAN —     Collinsville Outdoors Open Bass Tournament will be held Saturday June 28 at Okatibbee Lake. Contact Kevin at Collinsville Outdoors at 601-479-0254 for registration information.

    On Saturday, Sept. 27, the Clarke County Chamber of Commerce will sponsor the 24th Annual Forestry and Wildlife Festival at Archusa Water Park in Quitman.

    Activities will begin at 9 a.m. The event will include a car and truck show, Kiddie-Land with Nickelodeon-type children’s games, arts and crafts, live entertainment, bass tournament, equipment displays, the Ole Time Sweet Shop, and breakfast with Disney characters. At 4 p.m. there will be a drawing to select a winner of $500 CASH – (you do not have to be present to win).

    Requests are now being accepted for booth spaces for the event.
