The general spring turkey season opened March 15, in East Mississippi and in area counties of West Alabama. The Mississippi season runs through May 1 and the Alabama season ends April 30. The bag limit for turkeys is one per day with a three bird limit in Mississippi and five bird limit (total for fall and spring) in Alabama.
