Disagrees with editor's take on Confederate Memorial Day

In his annual attack on Confederate Memorial Day in his column, managing editor Steve Gillespie suggests that we should "ask our legislators" to replace Confederate Memorial Day with a "Southern Heritage Day," because he thinks that there should not be a Memorial Day "just" for Confederate soldiers.
In my opinion, the publishers of The Meridian Star would be well-advised to "replace" politically correct, scalawag editors, like Mr. Gillespie, who attack our Souther Traditions, heroes, and icons at every opportunity, but publicly brag about supporting things like the perverse homosexual agenda, and those who sustain abortion on demand, as I believe Mr. Gillespie has done in his columns in The Star in the past.
