She will also be remembered for her crocheting, which was sold to provide funds to the church's missionary programs. She was also a member of the Centerhill- Obadiah Homemakers Club. As a lady whose life was full, she will be greatly missed by those who loved her.

Survivors include her husband of 67 years, John L. Lisenbe; daughter, Lola Claire Murphy (Marlan) of Bailey; son, John L. Lisenbe Jr. (Teresa) of Meridian; brother, Tobia Gibson of Butler, Ala.; and sister Clara Ozment (Buck) of Gardendale, Ala.

She is also survived by her grandchildren, Glenn Murphy, Jeffery Murphy (Tera), Amy Semmes (Michael), John N. Lisenbe , Sarah Lisenbe and two great grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorials be made to your local Gideons.
