Charlotte Morgan Small

MERIDIAN —     Memorial services for Charlotte Morgan Small will be held Monday at 11 a.m. at Poplar Springs Drive Baptist Church, with the Rev. Dr. John Temple officiating. Burial will be at 1 p.m. in Forest Lawn Cemetery with Robert Barham Family Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.

    Mrs. Small, 70, of Meridian, died Friday, Oct. 18, 2013, at her residence. She was a member of Poplar Springs Drive Baptist Church. Mrs. Small retired from Meridian Ophthalmic Association after 22 years.

    Survivors include her daughter, Katie Small of Silas, Ala.; son, James L. “Buster” Long of Toomsuba; grandchildren, Tyler Robinson and Leland Small; sisters, Gwen Hollingsworth, Rachel Clark and Eloise Turner, all of Meridian; sister-in-law, Cynthia Small of Gautier; and several nieces and nephews.

    She was preceded in death by her husband, John Small; daughter, Kay Small Robinson; and parents, J.C. “Charlie” and Clara Morgan.

    The family requests memorials be made to Poplar Springs Drive Baptist Church.

    Visitation will be held one hour before services at the church.
