Bonnie P. Underwood


    Funeral services for Bonnie P. Underwood will be held Thursday, March 28, 2013, at 11 a.m., at Webb Funeral Home Chapel, with Rev. Gary Smith officiating. Interment will be held at Old Golden Grove Cemetery in Union, Miss. James F. Webb Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

    Mrs. Underwood, 67, of Meridian, died Monday, March 25, 2013, at Jeff Anderson Regional Medical Center.

    She is survived by her son, Carlton “Pee Wee” Boswell (Tina) of Picayune, Miss.; three sisters: Patsy McCarter and Christine Gunter, both of Meridian, and Ollie Jewel Simmons of Austin, Texas; four brothers: Charles Marvin Porter, James Ray Porter, Curtis Levelle Porter, and Jimmy Dale Porter Price; two grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; her caretakers, Willie and Mary Sue Triplett; and numerous nieces and nephews.

    She was preceded in death by her parents, Charles and Mattie Porter; sister, Lorene Howard, and brother, Charles Robert Porter.

    Visitation will be held Thursday, March 28, 2013, at Webb Funeral Home, from 11 a.m. to 11:30 a.m.
