Gladys Howard Varner

MERIDIAN —

    Services for Gladys Howard Varner will be held at Tuesday at 2:30 p.m. at Robert Barham Family Funeral Home chapel, with the Rev. Roy Dabbs officiating. Burial will be in Burwell Cemetery.

    Mrs. Varner, 84, of Huntsville, Ala. died Friday in Huntsville. She was a former member of Oak Grove Baptist Church.

    Survivors include Newell Varner of Huntsville, a son Fred Smith of Meridian, three grandchildren, and ten great grandchildren.

    She was preceded in death by her husband Joseph F. Howard, three sisters, and a brother.
