Carolyn E. Aust

MERIDIAN —   Graveside services for Mrs. Carolyn E. Aust will be held Monday at 1p.m. at Forest Lawn Memory Gardens. Rev. Jerry Read will be officiating. Barham Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

    Mrs. Aust, 87, of Meridian, passed away Thursday. She was a long time teacher of dance and baton, and also a Meridian Star carrier for several years.

    She is survived by her son, Jack Aust (Wanda), grandson, Forrest Aust (Mandy), great grandson, Colton Aust, sister Margie Thompson and her husband Lee. She is also survived by sisters-in-law, Robbye Briggs and Jean Knight, brother-in-law Jimmy Aust and numerous nieces and nephews.

    She was preceded in death by her parents, Earnest and Pauline Temple, husband, John E. Aust Jr., son, Jimmy Aust, daughter, Paula Kay Aust, sister Ruth Frances Bridges and brother Sonny Temple.

    Pallbearers will be Christopher Aust, Bill Briggs and Greg Briggs.

    The family would like to express their appreciation to the staff of Hospice Compasus as well as Dewayne and Kathy Fisher and the staff of the Fisher House for the care and compassion shown to Mrs. Aust during her illness.

    Visitation will be at Barham Funeral Home one hour prior to service.
