Johnnie Wright

MERIDIAN —     Services for Johnnie Wright will be held today, Friday, at 11 a.m., at Hopewell Baptist Church with burial in the church Cemetery. Rev. Jimmy McDill and Rev. Tommy Anderson will be officiating with Milling Funeral Home of Union in charge of the arrangements.

    Mr. Wright, 71, of Little Rock, died Wednesday, October 2, 2013 at Jeff Anderson Regional Medical Center of Meridian. Mr. Wright was a member and deacon of Hopewell Baptist Church.

    Survivors include his wife of 52 years, Letha Wright of Little Rock; daughter, Tammie Fitzgerald Vance of Little Rock; son, Vince Wright and wife Florence of Little Rock; nine grandchildren; two great grandchildren and one on the way; three brothers: Wayne Wright of Bailey, Russell Wright of Bailey, Randy Wright of Bailey; three sisters: Esther Miller of Lauderdale, Dale Motley of Washington State, Judy Parker of Bailey; and numerous nieces and nephews.

    Pallbearers are Jason Wright, Artie Foreman, Ricky Sheehan, Josh Sheehan, Jonathan White and Doyle White
