Laudie Elaine Nesmith

MERIDIAN —     Services for Laudie Elaine Nesmith will be held Sunday at 3 p.m. at Stephens Funeral Home Chapel. Rev. Jerry Alexander will be officiating. Burial will be in Meehan Cemetery. Stephens Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

    Mrs. Nesmith, 80, of Chunky, passed away Thursday at Rush Foundation Hospital. She was a homemaker.

    Survivors include her husband, Clyde Nesmith; daughter, Laura "Sissy"  Reynolds; two sons, Billy Smith and Stevie Smith and wife Debbie; a sister, Grace Hamm and husband Dudley; two nieces, Michelle Hamm of Meridian and Renee Hamm of Brandon, as well as a special friend, Jacklyn; two grandchildren, Laurisha Bozeman of Waveland and Becki Smith of Hickory; five great grandchildren, Raven Kayla Bozeman of Waveland, Logan and Leyanne Bozeman of Quitman, Justice and Jordan Smith of Hickory, along with one great great grandchild, Baylee Jade Pyron of Waveland.

    She was preceded in death by her parents, Clarence and Hettie Wilkerson; a son, Albert Smith; a sister, Vera Hogg and a grandchild, Courtney Lynn Smith.

    Visitation will be Saturday from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Stephens Funeral Home.
