Sandra Jane “Suzi” Castle Muscat

MERIDIAN —     Funeral services for Sandra “Suzi” Castle Muscat will be held Sunday at 2:30 p.m. at Oliver Chapel in Winona with Rev. Roy Meyers officiating. Burial will be in Friendship Cemetery in Kilmichael with Oliver Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.

    Mrs. Muscat, 67, of Toomsuba, died of heart failure at her residence on Thursday, September 19, 2013.

    Mrs. Muscat was the daughter, of the late Wayne and Jane O’Neal Castle and the widow of the late Richard Calcote and the late Robert “Bob” Muscat. She was a 1965 graduate of Kilmichael High School and a graduate of Draughon’s Beauty College in Memphis, Tenn. She was a retired cosmetologist and was currently the cafeteria manager for Progressive Pipeline in Meridian. Mrs. Muscat was a member of Mt. Gillion Baptist Church in Toomsuba and the Port Charlotte, Fla. VFW.

    She was preceded in death by her son, Todd Calcote.

    Survivors include her daughter, Sandi Calcote of Toomsuba; three brothers, Gary Castle of West Point, Mike Castle of Destin, Fla., and Allen Castle of Oxford; one granddaughter, Jade Berry of Toomsuba; and several nieces and nephews.

    Pallbearers will be Jake Castle, Shed Castle, Michael Castle, Jason Castle, Zachary Castle, Chandler Castle, Adam Castle, Collin Thomas and Garik Wedel.
