Cynthia Bender

MERIDIAN —     Services for Cynthia Bender will be held Wednesday, at 2 p.m., at Shiloh Baptist Church with Rev. Gregory Baylor officiating. Burial will be in Pleasant Hill Cemetery with Berry and Gardner Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.

    Ms. Bender, 53, of Meridian, died Thursday, Oct. 4, 2012, her residence.

    Survivors include four daughters: Karissa Bender, Nikki Bender and Kenyatta Bender, all of Meridian, and Rennate' Bender of Raleigh, N.C.; two sons: Jamaal Bender and Kevin Bender, both of Atlanta, Ga.; six sisters: Mary Wilson and Vanessa Ford, both of Meridian, Sandra Bender and Katheline Bender, both of Omaha, Neb., and Esther Holloway and Betty Springer, both of Atlanta, Ga.; seven brothers: Edward Bender, Ray Bender and Frances Bender, all of Columbus, Ohio, Willard Bender of Milwawkee, Wis., Leon Bender of Omaha, Neb., James Bender of Hampton, Va., and Richard Bender of Meridian; and, a host of nieces, nephews and friends.

    Visitation will be today, from 6 to 7 p.m., at the funeral home.
