Alton W. Sims

MERIDIAN —     PEARL – Services for Alton W. Sims will be held Friday, at 11:30 a.m., at St. Stephen’s Episcopal Church in Jackson. Burial will be at 3 p.m., in Beulah Hubbard Baptist Church Cemetery, Little Rock, with Baldwin Lee Funeral Home of Pearl in charge of arrangements.

    Mr. Sims passed away Friday, April 26, 2013, at his home in Pearl. He was a member of St. Stephens Episcopal Church, High Noon Toastmasters and Rankin County Master Gardener Club.

    Survivors include his wife, Ruth Sims; son, John Sims; brother, Gary Sims; and, numerous nieces and nephews.

    He was preceded in death by his son, Alex Sims; brothers: George Sims and Thomas Sims; and sister, Lois Sims Williams Harrell.

    In lieu of flowers, please make a contribution in memory of Mr. Sims to St. Stephens Episcopal Church.
