Dylan Ray Mabry

MERIDIAN —     Services for Dylan Ray Mabry will be held Wednesday at 11 a.m. at Northpark Church with the Rev. Gerald Chaney and Kyle Routzahn officiating. Burial will be at Pleasant Hill United Methodist Church Cemetery with Robert Barham Family Funeral Home in charge of the arrangements.

Mr. Mabry, age 17, died Friday at University Medical Center.

Dylan was a junior at Clarkdale High School where he was a member of the 2013 State Champion Welding Team. As a member of the FFA he was also the 2011 State individual winner in Dairy Evaluation. He was a very determined young man who refused to back down from any challenge which led to many adventures in his life, the latest being his love of bull riding. He was an avid outdoorsman who loved to fish, hunt, and mud ride. He loved spending time at the river with family and friends. Dylan was a short, stocky, courageous, ready-to-do-anything young man whose smile would brighten your day.

Survivors include his mother, Dana Riley of Meridian; father, Daniel Mabry, of Meridian; maternal grandparents, Arnold and Rae Carol Enzor, and Wayne and Jean Riley; paternal grandparents, Charles and Penny Rainer, and Danny and Annie Mabry; and the love of his life, Katie Jo Riley; and a very special great uncle Wayne Pickard, known as Pickard.

The family requests memorials be made to the Clarkdale FFA or Mississippi Organ Recovery Agency.

Honorary Pallbearers will be Randy Rawson and Dalton Riley. Pallbearers will be Chase Lewis, Blake Mollett, Kylan Mabry, Justin Jenkins, Justin Skipworth, Hunter Riley, Tyler Riley, and Jamal Neal.

Family and friends may sign the online guestbook at www.robertbarhamffh.com

Visitation will be held 5-8 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
