Mary Lucille Rutledge

MERIDIAN —     Services for Mary Lucille Rutledge were held Wednesday, July 2, 2014, 2 p.m. at Wright's Funeral Home with Rev. Roy Dabbs, officiating. Burial took place in Crossroads Church Cemetery.

    Mary Lucille Rutledge, 93, of Meridian, died June 29, 2014. She was born Sept. 5, 1920 to James and Maggie (Mosely) Haddox of Desoto.

    Survivors include her sons, James Vickers, Darrell (Jane L.) Rutledge, and Mike (Teresa) Rutledge; daughter, Becky Hofer; 15 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; ten great-great-grandchildren.

    She was preceded in death by her father, James Emanuel Haddox; mother, Maggie Haddox, husband, Edd Rutledge; son, Alton Vickers, four sisters, and one brother.

    Pallbearers were Jason Rutledge, Brandon Hofer, Randy Collins, Nick Tucker, Eddie Vickers, Robbie Vickers, and Dillon Vickers

    Visitation was held Wednesday, July 2, 2014 from 12 p.m. until 2 p.m. at Wright's Funeral Home, Quitman.
