MERIDIAN —     Services for Mae Warren Kennedy Jolly will be held today at 2:30 p.m. at Robert Barham Family Funeral Home Chapel, with Dr. Gilbert Prince officiating. Burial will be at Coldwater Baptist Church Cemetery with Robert Barham Family Funeral Home in charge of the arrangements.

    Mrs. Jolly, 91, of Meridian died Friday, at Bedford Care Center in Marion. She was born in Neshoba County, but she spent most of her life in Meridian. She was married to Alva J. Kennedy, Jr. of Neshoba County for 17 years and following his death she was married to Charles L. Jolly for the past 39 years.

    Mae was a delightful person to know. She worked as a secretary at Poplar Springs Baptist Church in Meridian, and also worked at Rush and Riley Hospital. She was a faithful member of Andrew Chapel Methodist Church in Meridian.

    She enjoyed her church friends, family, square dancing, and Atlanta Braves baseball games. One of her highlights was attending a Braves game on her eightieth birthday and getting recognized as a special guest.

    Survivors include her husband, Charles L. Jolly; siblings, Joe R., Hugh L. and John White, Sue Chadwick and Ouida Williams. Children, Alva J. Kennedy, III (Jim), and Linda Waterloo and husband Charles. Grandchildren, Charles (Trey) Waterloo, III and wife Emily, Kristi Waterloo Clark and husband Andy; Doug Kennedy and wife Maddie, Julie Elizabeth Maxwell and husband Timothy, Michael, Greg and Karen Ann Kennedy, and step-children Richard, Jimmy, Tim and Larry Jolly and thirteen great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be held today, 1:30 p.m. until 2:30 p.m. at the funeral home.
