Toxie M. Greer


    Graveside services for Toxie M. Greer will be held Friday, at 11 a.m., at Forest Lawn Cemetery with Rev. Jonathan Greer officiating. Robert Barham Family Funeral Home will be in charge of the arrangements.

    Mr. Greer, 86, of Clinton, died Tuesday, March 5, 2013, at Baptist Hospital in Jackson. He served in the U.S. Army and was a veteran of the Korean War. Mr. Greer was retired from AT&T and is a lifetime member of the Telephone Pioneers of America. He was also a member of the Masons.

    Survivors include his sons: Garry M. Greer and wife Patty of Collierville, Tenn., and Mark A. Greer and wife Robin of Causeyville; grandchildren: Kristi M. Greer, Jonathan Greer and wife Hannah, Michael Greer, Tyler Greer and Jennifer Greer; brother, Troy Greer and wife Gladys of Clinton; and, numerous nieces and nephews.

    He was preceded in death by his parents, Webb and Nancy Greer; brother, Billy Greer; and, sisters: Vanette Broom and Quida Stuckey.

    Pallbearers will be Jonathan Greer, Michael Greer, Tyler Greer, and Robbie Limerick.

    Visitation will be held today, from 5 p.m. until 6 p.m., at the funeral home.
