Services for Nancy Cantirino will be held today, Thursday, at 11:30 a.m. at Robert Barham Family Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend Croft officiating. Burial will follow at Mississippi State Veterans Cemetery in Newton with Robert Barham Family Funeral Home in charge of the arrangements.
Nancy was 66 years old when she went to meet Our Heavenly Father on Feb. 10, 2014, in Meridian.
She was born on Dec. 5, 1947 in Midland, Texas. She worked for many years offshore for Falcon Deep Drilling Company. Nancy enjoyed gardening, hunting, and camping, but her greatest passion was just sitting and fishing and being outdoors with God’s wonders.
Nancy will be remembered as a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother.
She is survived by her husband of 18 years, Joe Cantirino; sons, Olin Frady (Genine), William Chad Frady (Jan), and Terry Frady; daughter, Tonya Roberts (Randall), all of Meridian; granddaughters, Crystal Eastman (Curtis), Tabitha Hale (Andrew), Breanna Frady, and Ashley Frady (Dwayne); grandson, Trip Caskey; great grandchildren, Kimberly, Brooklyn, Ty, C.J., Christian, and Gracie; sister, Jo Ann Glover of Star City, Ark.; brothers, Ed McCauley (Sue) of Lone Grove, Okla. and Milford Ray Slabough of Los Angeles, Calif.; lifelong best friend and honorary sister, Betty Gail Davis; companions who will miss her, Precious, Sassy, Poochie, and Chula.
She was preceded in death by her parents, William Settles and Lela May Toms; and sisters, Catherine Sue and Cynthia Slabough and brother, Henry Ray Slabough.
