Phyllis Jackson Temple

MERIDIAN —     Visitation for Phyllis Jackson Temple will be held Saturday, June 15th at 9:30 a.m. at Barham Funeral Home  in Meridian, followed by graveside services at Meridian Memorial Park Cemetery.

    Mrs. Temple, 93, died Thursday, June 13, 2013 at Ollie Steele Burden Nursing Home, in Baton Rouge, where she lived for five years.  She was a former resident of Meridian and Whynot, MS.

    A loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and was an active member of Bethany Baptist Church.

    She was preceded in death by her husband George Vernon Temple and her daughter Virginia Temple Ware.

    She is survived by her daughter, Faye Temple Barrow and her husband Charles of Baton Rouge, LA; sister, Betty Jackson Caraway, of Talking Rock, GA; grandchildren: Amy Roth of Pensacola, FL,  Todd Ware and his wife Natalie, of Panama City, FL,  Stephen Barrow and his wife Rachael of Geismar, LA,  Deborah Rogers and her husband Aaron of Austin, TX; great grandchildren: Luke Ware, Lydia, Joshua, Caleb, Benjamin, and Phoebe Barrow, Hannah and Sarah Rogers.

    Family requests memorials be donated to Bethany Baptist Church, 4475 Ponds Road, Meridian, MS  39301.
