Arthur Baker


    QUITMAN - Services for Arthur Baker will be held today, at 11 a.m., at Wright’s Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Dennis Kennedy officiating. Burial will be in Archusa Memorial Gardens with Wright's Funeral Home in charge of the arrangements.

     Mr. Baker, 92, of Meridian, died Sunday, Nov. 18, 2012, at his residence.

    Survivors include his wife, Leatrice Baker; daughter, Linda Carol McCafferty and her husband Chris; son, James Arthur Baker and his wife Joyce; six grandchildren; and, one great-grandchild.

    He was preceded in death by his daughter, Joann Williams; and parents, John Thomas and Missouri D. Baker.

    Visitation will be one hour prior to services at the funeral home.
