W.R. “Dub” Bryant

MERIDIAN —     Services for W.R. “Dub” Bryant will be held Thursday, April 25, 2013, at 11 a.m., at Milling Funeral Home Chapel of Union with Rev. Chris Vowell officiating. Burial will be in Greenland Cemetery. Milling Funeral Home of Union is in charge of arrangements.

    Mr. Bryant, 77, of Union, died Monday, April 22, 2013, at Infinity Hospice in Marion.

    Mr. Bryant enjoyed fishing, hunting and playing with his cat, Lucy. He will be remembered as a loving husband, father, and brother.

    Survivors include his wife, Louise Bryant of Union; four daughters: Donna Ferguson and her fiancé Randy Williams, of Hickory, Teresa Brown and her husband Tommy, of Collinsville, Sharon Arundel and her husband Patrick, of Alabama, Anita Weems and her husband Mark, of Philadelphia; ten grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren; two brothers, Walter Bryant of Union, and Wayne Bryant of Arkansas.

    He is preceded in death by his wife, Barbara Bryant; parents, Bill and Alice Bryant; three sisters: infant Mary Alice Bryant, Lina Bryant and Virginia Wilkerson; three brothers: Bobby Bryant, James Bryant and Raymond Bryant.

    Pallbearers will be: grandsons: Allen Ferguson, Chris Ferguson, Aaron Burton, Michael Burton, Caleb Brown and Brandon Brown.

    Visitation will be held today, from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Milling Funeral Home of Union.
