Edward Lewis Rhodes


    BUTLER, Ala. — Funeral services for Edward Lewis Rhodes, 82, of Gilbertown will be held Tuesday, March 5, 2013 at 2 p.m. from Toxey Assembly of God with Rev. Derrick Clark, Rev. Henry Lee, and Rev. Joseph Futral officiating. Burial will follow in the Mosley Cemetery with Bumpers Funeral Home of Butler in charge of arrangements.

    Mr. Rhodes passed away Saturday, March 2, 2013 at his residence. He was a retired oil field driller and a United States Marine Corps veteran having served in the Korean War.

    Visitation will be Monday from 6 to 8 p.m. at Bumpers Funeral Home and one hour prior to the service at the church on Tuesday.

    Visit to sign the online register and post condolences to the family.
