Richard Boswell

MERIDIAN —     Services for Richard Boswell will be held today, at 11 a.m., at Milling Funeral Home Chapel of Union. Burial will be in the Union City Cemetery with Rev. Ben McDaniel and Rev. David Robinson officiating.

    Mr. Boswell, 53, of Decatur, died Monday, May 6, 2013, at his residence. He was a member of Beatline Baptist Church. He retired after 25 years from La-Z-Boy.

    Richard loved his family and will be remembered as a loving husband, father, grandfather and son.

    Survivors include his loving wife of 31 years, Jane Banks Boswell of Decatur; two daughters, Jessica Boswell McDaniel and her husband John, of Union, Julie Boswell Stockton and her husband Matt, of Union; grandson, Judson Richard McDaniel, of Union; mother, Bonnie Boswell, of Decatur.

    Mr. Boswell was preceded in death by his father, Charles Boswell.     Pallbearers: Matt Bender, Mark Massey, Rocky Cleveland, Marshall Rivers, Chris Craven, Scotty Russell, Mike Lee and Jamie McDonald.

    Honorary Pallbearers: Dr. J.G. Alexander, Don Mather, and The Classmates of 1977.

    Milling Funeral Home of Union is in charge of arrangements.
