QUITMAN —     Graveside services for Winfred A. Lightsey Sr. will be Saturday, at 11 a.m., at Pachuta Cemetery with Rev. Bryan Carrubba and Rev. Keith Bogan officiating. Wright's Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.

    Mr. Lightsey, 85, of Pachuta, died Wednesday, April 24, 2013, at the V. A. Nursing Center in Collins. He was a member of Pachuta United Methodist Church. Mr. Lightsey was a veteran of World War II where he served in the U.S. Navy.

    Survivors include his wife, Dot Lightsey; sons: Andrew F. Lightsey and his wife Debra, and Winfred A. Lightsey Jr. and his wife Leahne; daughter, Deborah L. Thomson and her husband Richard; 10 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; brother, Alton E. Lightsey and his wife Dot; and sister, Grace Lightsey Davis and her husband Jimmy.

     He was preceded in death by his parents, Lewis and Cora Lightsey; son, Charles E. Lightsey; and brother, Carl B. Lightsey.

    Pallbearers will be Richard S. Thomson Jr., Richard S. Thomson III, David Ratcliffe Thomson, Quintus H. Thomson, Lewis E. Lightsey, Kristopher A. Lightsey, Clinton A. Lightsey and Charley Tynes.

    In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Pachuta United Methodist Church or your favorite charity.

    Visitation will be today, from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m., at the funeral home.
