Roger D. Scarbrough Sr.

MERIDIAN — Services for Roger Scarbrough Sr. will be held today, Tuesday, at 2 p.m. at Robert Barham Family Funeral Home Chapel, with Reverend Gerald Briggs officiating. Burial will be at Cokers Chapel United Methodist Church Cemetery. Robert Barham Family Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.

          Mr. Scarbrough, age 63, of Meridian, died Saturday, September 7, 2013, at Anderson Regional Medical Center.

          Mr. Scarbrough was a truck driver for over 40 years and a member of the motorcycle group, Star 496, and The Moose Lodge.

          Survivors include his sons, Roger Scarbrough Jr. and his wife, Skylar, of Meridian, Shawn Scarbrough, of Enterprise; granddaughters, Jewel Robinson and Anaka Sullivan; his first grandson arriving in November, Levi Scarbrough; sister, Renae Graham and husband, Randall, of Meridian; niece, Lindsey Simpson; nephew, Hunter Graham; great niece, Kenley Simpson; and numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.

          He was preceded in death by his parents, Charlie and Evelyn Scarbrough.
