Everett Larue Daniels

MERIDIAN —     Services for Everett Larue Daniels will be held Wednesday at 10:30 a.m. at Robert Barham Family Funeral Home Chapel, with Pastors Jeff Hancock and Earl Wheatley officiating. Burial will be in Hamrick Cemetery with Robert Barham Family Funeral Home in charge of the arrangements.

    Mr. Daniels, 86, of Collinsville died Nov. 16, 2013.  He served in the United States Navy and served for seven years on the Lauderdale School Board. Mr. Daniels was a member of Collinsville First Church of God and Meridian Northpark Church of God and he taught a Sunday school class for many years.

    Survivors include his wife of sixty-six years, Eileen Daniels; children, Awana Simmons and husband Jerry, Rolland Daniels and wife Ellen, Danny Daniels and wife Jodie; grandchildren, Brandon Simmons and wife Kirby, Tyler Daniels, Seth Daniels and wife Catherine, Brianna Daniels, Kristin Daniels, and Nathan Daniels; great-grandchildren, Paxton Simmons, and Ava Daniels; siblings, Cluis Daniels, Lavern Daniels and wife Sarah Linda and Pebble Davis and husband Jim.

    He was preceded in death by his parents, Nathan and Ela Faye Daniels and his brother Thad Daniels.

    In lieu of flowers, please send donations to the Alzheimer’s Association.

    Pallbearers will be Brandon Simmons, Tyler Daniels, Seth Daniels, Nathan Daniels, Dan Peterson and Todd Mathis. Honorary pallbearers will be employees of Daniels Roofing Company.

    Family and friends may sign the online guest book at

    Visitation will be held today, Tuesday, from 5:30 p.m. until 7:30 p.m. at the funeral home.
