Ann Green Whitlock

MERIDIAN —    Services for Ann Green Whitlock will be held Saturday at 11 a.m. at Robert Barham Family Funeral Home Chapel with Dr. Raymon Leake officiating. Burial will follow at Forest Lawn Cemetery with Robert Barham Family Funeral Home in charge of the arrangements.

    Mrs. Whitlock, age 66, of Meridian, passed away Wednesday, Oct. 30, 2013, at her residence.

    Mrs. Whitlock was a member of First Baptist Church of Meridian. She was a devoted wife, mother, caregiver to a special child for 44 years, and grandmother.

    She is survived by her husband of 45 years, Mike Whitlock of Meridian; son, Michael Whitlock of Meridian; daughter, Rachelle Barnhardt and husband, Allen of Meridian; granddaughters, LeAnna Barnhardt and McKenzie Barnhardt; brothers, Harold Green and wife, Nancy, Robert (Bo) Green, and Howell (Sonny) Green; sisters, Betty Miller, Carolyn McCary and husband, Gerald, and Marilyn Lay; and numerous nieces and nephews.

    She was preceded in death by her parents, Harold and Hazel Green, and brother, Tommy Green.

    Pallbearers will be Allen Barnhardt, Tommy Myers, Jerry McKee, Jacob Stephens, Jace Mauldin, Blake Mauldin, and Brandon Knight.

    The family would like to express their deepest appreciation to everyone for their prayers and all the cards that have been sent during this most difficult time.
