Mary Randall "Randy" Proctor

MERIDIAN —     Graveside services for Mrs. Mary Randall "Randy" Proctor will be held Monday, October 28 at 11 a.m. at Forest Lawn Memory Gardens, Highway 39 North, Meridian, MS. Rev. Jimmy Harrison will be officiating. Stephens Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

    Mrs. Proctor, 82, formerly of Meridian, passed away on Friday, October 25 at Hospice Ministries in Ridgeland, MS. She was a homemaker. She enjoyed cooking for her family, entertaining at their Dalewood lake home, loved her hobbies of arranging flowers, reading, working crossword puzzles and playing bridge with her bridge club. She also was a big fan of Alabama football, but her most enjoyable moments were spending time with her grandchildren.

    She is survived by her son, John Proctor III and his wife Glenda of Madison, daughters, Pam Bell and her husband Kenny of Brentwood, TN, Pat Benson of Madison, Grandchildren, Kay Wilson, Amanda and Natalie Proctor, Kayte Ford, Davis and Korey Bell. She is also survived by her great grandchildren, Hannah and Hayden Wilson and her brother Warren "Bo" Davis of Panama City, FL.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Warren and Myrtle Davis and husband John Proctor Jr.

    Visitation will be Sunday from 3pm to 5pm at Stephens Funeral Home in Meridian, MS.

    In lieu of flowers the family requests that memorials be made to But God Ministries, 1440 North State Street, Jackson, MS 39202 or Friends of Children's Hospital, 2500 North State Street, Jackson, MS 39216.
