Alex Gerald White

MERIDIAN —

    Graveside services for Alex Gerald White will be held today, at 11 a.m., in Pine Springs Southern Methodist Cemetery with Rev. Billy Guin officiating. Stephens Funeral Home of Meridian is in charge of arrangements.

    Mr. White, 59, of Pine Springs Community, passed away Tuesday, May 21, 2013, at Regency Hospital.

    Survivors include a daughter, Melissa Horn of Lawrence; son and daughter-in-law, Scotty and Teresa White of Lawrence; grandchildren: Mason Horn, Marissa Horn and Alex White; mother, Nettie C. White of Pine Springs Community; sister and brother-in-law, Faith and Rev. Billy Guin of Pine Springs Community; and brother, Howard Eugene White Jr. of DeKalb.

    He was preceded in death by his father, Howard Eugene White Sr.; and brother, Dave Ernest White.

    Pallbearers are Karon Crenshaw, Richard Crenshaw, Brandon Crenshaw, Larry Crenshaw, Scotty White and Tim Ivey.

    Honorary pallbearers are his three grandchildren.

    Visitation will be 30 minutes prior to services at the cemetery.
