Rose Ella Carter


    QUITMAN - Services for Rose Ella Carter will be held Wednesday, at 11 a.m., at Wright’s Funeral Home Chapel, with Rev. Dennis Coats officiating. Burial will be in Odd Fellows Cemetery with Wright’s Funeral Home in charge of the arrangements

    Mrs. Carter, 85, of Quitman, died Monday, April 8, 2013, at her residence. She was a loving and caring mother and grandmother. She was a member of Calvary Baptist Church.

    Survivors include her daughter, Peggy Kennedy and her husband Dennis; grandchildren: Tracy Kennedy, Tammy Dearman and her husband Wade, Ben Kennedy, and Heather Newburn and her husband J.J.; great-grandchildren: Brinley Dearman and Jessica Storey; and great-great-grandchild, Jaden.

    She was preceded in death by her husband, B. F. Carter; three brothers; and, one sister.

    Pallbearers will be Jeffery Glass, Steve Glass, Willie Thompson, Jimmy Manasco and Mike Glass.

    Visitation will be today, from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m., at the funeral home.
