Bertie H. Harrison


    UNION - Services for Bertie H. Harrison will be held today, at 11 a.m., at Stephens Funeral Home Chapel with Revs. Bill Webb and Gary Rivers officiating. Burial will be in the Beulah Baptist Church Cemetery, with Stephens Funeral Home of Union in charge of the arrangements.

    Mrs. Harrison, 93, of Little Rock, went to her eternal home on, Wednesday, April 3, 2013, at her home.

    Survivors include two sons: Roger L. Harrison (Barbara), and Charles H. Harrison (Pat), both of Little Rock; one daughter, Betty H. Mangrum (Keith) of Carthage; five grandchildren: Steven Paul Harrison, Janet Leigh Harrison Estes (Ben), Jeffery Lynn Harrison, all of Little Rock, Jason Thomas Mangrum (Ashley) of Water Valley, and Stuart Anthony Mangrum of Jackson; two great-grandsons: Grant Harrison Estes and Garrett Lee Estes, both of Little Rock; one sister, Thelma Grace Harrison Pleick (Pete) of Lake Forest, Calif.; and, numerous nieces and nephews.

    “Ma Bertie” was preceded in death by her husband of 49 years, Dennis Leon “Pa Dump” Harrison; and a brother, Howard Woodrow Harrison.

    Pallbearers will be Steven Harrison, Jeffery Harrison, Jason Mangrum, Stuart Mangrum, Gary Pinson, Ben Estes, and Robert Smith.
