MERIDIAN —     Services for Edith Bynum Campbell-Broome will be held Thursday at 2 p.m. at Hulett-Winstead Funeral Home Chapel in Hattiesburg. Burial will be in Military Baptist Church Cemetery. Hulett-Winstead Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
    Mrs. Broome, 95, of Hattiesburg, formerly of Sumrall, died Sunday, September 29, 2013 in Meridian.
    Mrs. Broome was a member of Calvary Baptist Church in Oak Grove where she was a longtime Sunday School Teacher. She served as District Director of the W.M.U. and was Coordinator of the Live Oaks Senior Adults and a Calvary Quilter at Calvary Baptist Church.
    Survivors include four daughters, Ann Campbell Mitchell of Baton Rouge, La., Nita Campbell Fuller of Gautier, Jennie Campbell Rivet of Cumming, Ga., Melinda Campbell Rose of Meridian; a sister, Nan B. Heist of Brunswick, Ga; fourteen grandchildren and fourteen great-grandchildren.
    She was preceded in death by her husbands, Peter Lowery Campbell, Sr. and Horace Broome; and a son, Peter Lowery Campbell, Jr.
    Memorials may be made to Calvary Baptist Church in Oak Grove.
    Visitation will begin at 12 noon on Thursday at the funeral home.
